Job description
Kalpana Choudhary is hiring a full-time Senior Software Engineer (Rust) in Mohali, Punjab, India. In this role, you will build and improve high-performance software for financial trading systems, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and distributed architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance trading systems using Rust.
- Design and implement distributed systems that support high availability and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate microservices.
- Optimize systems for performance and reliability in financial trading environments.
- Review code and mentor junior engineers.
- Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, delivering timely resolutions.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Expertise in Rust programming.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems.
- Experience with financial trading systems.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Software engineering experience, particularly in high-stakes environments, is preferred.
- Relevant industry certifications are an advantage.
