Key ResponsibilitiesLead structural analysis, design, and detailing for commercial, institutional, federal, and industrial projects.Design steel, concrete, and masonry structures for both new construction and renovation projects.Manage project teams, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.Prepare technical proposals, fee estimates, and qualification packages.Collaborate with architects, owners, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality structural solutions.Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships.Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and other office locations to ensure project success.Participate in marketing activities and industry networking opportunities.Travel as required to support project and client needs.
Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.Professional Engineer (PE) license required.Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred.10–15 years of structural engineering experience.Experience designing:Steel structuresConcrete structuresMasonry structuresCommercial buildingsInstitutional facilitiesFederal projectsIndustrial facilitiesExperience with structural engineering software including:RISARAM Structural System (RAMSS)ETABSEnercalcAutoCADRevitStrong project management, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in Structural Engineering.Experience with light gauge steel and timber design.Project Management certifications are highly desirable.Existing relationships with local AHJs, developers, architects, and contractors are a plus.Active involvement in professional engineering organizations is preferred.
