Job description
Join a dynamic structural engineering team as a Senior Structural Engineer in Montpelier, Vermont. This remote-eligible, full-time role supports projects throughout New England in commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, recreational, and government sectors. Monthly travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead project management and development, including planning and execution.
- Support business development and manage client relationships.
- Oversee project budgets, financial performance, and schedules.
- Communicate proactively with clients, management, and colleagues.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineering staff.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and civil/site engineering teams to deliver integrated projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit, and familiarity with engineering design software.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Vermont or New Hampshire preferred, or ability to obtain one within 6–12 months.
