The Senior Superintendent independently monitors on-site safety, coordinates construction activities, and supervises field personnel to complete projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and with the highest quality.

Responsibilities

• Execute and enforce safety standards, processes, and procedures, keeping the project site clean and organized.
• Conduct weekly safety inspections and monthly safety audits.
• Enforce quality standards, processes, and procedures, and conduct quality control audits.
• Determine, follow, and promote construction requirements and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in managing contractual requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain construction documents and review and coordinate shop drawings and submittals.
• Direct, coordinate, and monitor construction site activities to ensure specifications are met.
• Oversee mitigation of issues and recovery of the critical path.
• Conduct project preconstruction, strategy, and premortem meetings.
• Determine needed manpower, equipment, and materials from start to finish, with attention to budget requirements.
• Anticipate and identify project issues and risks, communicate them proactively, present solutions, and confer with the project team on resolution.
• Manage and plan construction operations and schedules to ensure deadlines.
