Equipmenteast is seeking a Service Writer to manage service work orders and support repair coordination.
Responsibilities
- Manage service work orders from start to finish.
- Communicate repair progress, estimates, timelines, and costs with customers.
- Coordinate repair schedules with technicians and service leadership.
- Ensure labor, parts, and service documentation is complete and accurate.
- Assist with parts coordination and job planning.
- Keep service records organized and up to date.
Requirements
- Two or more years of experience as a service advisor or in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple jobs.
- Organizational skills as assigned in a team-oriented environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with diesel, heavy equipment, and machines are a plus.
- Proficiency with computer systems and service management software is a plus.
