About the RoleWe're looking for a skilled Shop Mobile Equipment Mechanic to keep our mobile equipment fleet in a constant state of readiness. In this role, you'll perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on heavy equipment and vehicles, while helping ensure smooth, safe plant operations.
What You'll DoInspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment and vehicles, using diagnostic tools, hoists, and hand tools to identify and fix mechanical faultsPerform preventative maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts to manufacturer specificationsRead technical manuals, blueprints, and drawings to guide repairs and maintenance decisionsMaintain accurate service records and prepare daily/weekly plant operating reportsFollow all safety protocols (confined space entry, lock-out/tag-out, PPE, OSHA/MSHA) and report equipment issues that could affect productionWork flexible shifts and stay current on new tools and repair techniques through ongoing training
