Shopfloor IT SME

About the role

Support and enhance business-critical applications across manufacturing and shopfloor environments.

Tasks

• Provide day-to-day support for shopfloor and enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot application issues, system errors, industrial network connectivity, and integration failures.
• Support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ERP, historians, and shopfloor digital solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis and coordinate with IT, OT, automation, and vendor teams.
• Support application upgrades, testing, releases, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain SOPs, technical documentation, and incident records.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Shopfloor IT SME.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial applications.
• Understanding of MES and shopfloor systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot industrial networks and machine connectivity issues.
• Strong problem-solving, application support, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Preferred Skills: SQL, database troubleshooting, log analysis, APIs, middleware, system integrations, cloud connectivity, and incident management tools.
