Job description
ROOFS AND SHADES is hiring a full-time Site Engineer in Kochi, Kerala, India. Join a collaborative civil engineering team and help deliver construction projects on schedule, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards. This is an on-site role reporting to the Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations and coordinate construction teams to maintain steady project progress.
- Develop and manage project schedules, track milestones, and address delays.
- Create and review engineering drawings in AutoCAD for alignment with project specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to monitor construction quality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing project updates and resolving inquiries.
- Support project budget preparation, track expenses, and help maintain project profitability.
- Attend project meetings and report on site conditions, risks, and potential problem areas.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Strong project management and site supervision skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
- One to three years of experience in construction or civil engineering is preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of safety practices and local building codes.
Compensation and Employment
This is a full-time, on-site position in Kochi, Kerala, with compensation of 15000 per month.
