SITE OPERATIONS LEAD
Praxis Robotics | Panama City, Panama | Full-time | Frequent domestic travel

Fluent English and Spanish Required
You must be comfortable leading live calls, discussing operational data, handling difficult conversations, and writing clear updates in English with your US-based manager. Fluent Spanish is also required for work with local partners. Interviews include a live English conversation and a practical operations exercise.

About Praxis Robotics

Praxis Robotics partners with factories and businesses to collect first-person video that helps physical AI systems understand real-world work. We seek a resourceful, hands-on operator to launch pilots, solve problems, and grow reliable data collection across partner sites.

Role Overview

You will report to a US-based Strategic Project Lead / Program Manager, who reports to our Global Head of Operations. This is a broad, evolving role with opportunities for increased ownership as the company grows.

What You Will Do

  • Launch and support partner sites from initial pilots through daily operations and expansion.
  • Build strong relationships with owners, managers, and supervisors; establish regular check-ins and remove bottlenecks to meet throughput and quality goals.
  • Manage hardware sourcing, telecom and internet provider coordination, and on-site training for supervisors and staff.
  • Investigate operational issues such as throughput drops and develop recovery plans with factory owners.
  • Set expectations, push teams to follow through, and conduct difficult conversations with confidence and respect.
  • Make practical decisions under ambiguity while ensuring safety and data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in operations, project management, or related fields preferred.
  • Comfortable with frequent domestic travel within Panama.
  • Ability to work hands-on in dynamic environments and solve problems creatively.
