Site Reliability Engineer (OpenStack/Private Cloud) in Mexico City

Syed Ibrahim is hiring a skilled Site Reliability Engineer specializing in OpenStack and Private Cloud environments to join our innovative team in Mexico City. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the performance and uptime of OpenStack and Private Cloud systems.
• Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline operational workflows and deployments.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues affecting applications and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams to enhance system reliability and scalability.
• Conduct regular system audits and actively participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide timely support for mission-critical systems.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong proficiency with Linux operating systems and related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with OpenStack tools and managing private cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, system monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Industry certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a closely related role.
