Social Marketing Lead

SCOPE Studios is a creative loft rental space in DTLA looking for a social-media-savvy student or recent grad to take the reins on our online presence.

This is an unpaid position, but you'll get studio time in exchange, plus real creative freedom and a portfolio-building opportunity.

What you'd be doing:
Running and growing our Instagram (@scope_studios_)
Launching and building out a TikTok from scratch
Creating content that captures the studio's vibe — behind-the-scenes, reels, sessions, etc.
Posting consistently and engaging with our community
Bringing your own ideas — we want someone who can run with this, not just execute a checklist

What we're looking for:
You actually understand social platforms and what makes content perform (not just personal posting — you get trends, hooks, editing, growth strategy)
Self-starter energy — we're looking to hand off real ownership here, not micromanage
Some experience with Reels/TikTok content creation (filming + editing) is a big plus
Based in or around DTLA / able to come by the studio to shoot content
Bonus: interest in [photography/art/film/podcasting]

The trade:
Studio time in exchange for your work — great if you're a creator, musician, artist, or photographer who wants space to make your own stuff/Internship credit/Letter of rec
