Job description
Satar zon is hiring a full-time Software Engineer in New York City, New York. Join a collaborative technology team and build software solutions that improve the company’s products and user experience. In this on-site role, you will work with the Technical Lead and collaborate with product management, quality assurance, and UX/UI teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using appropriate programming languages and tools.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and refine software requirements.
- Review code and uphold software development best practices and coding standards.
- Debug and troubleshoot software components to resolve issues.
- Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from concept through deployment.
- Write and maintain unit tests to support software quality and reliability.
- Keep current with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to projects.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with software development practices and tools, including Git and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with database management systems and web development frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Preferred: 3 or more years of software development experience.
- Preferred: industry-recognized certifications, such as AWS Certified Developer or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
