Software Engineer in City of London, England - Full-Time

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement high-quality software applications using Java, Python, C#, and other programming languages. Conduct thorough software testing and debugging to ensure optimal application performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, QA, and UX designers to gather requirements and enhance software functionality. Manage and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases integrated with software solutions. Participate actively in code reviews and uphold coding standards within the development team. Stay current with emerging industry trends and apply best practices in software development methodologies. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly to maintain system integrity. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. Experience with software testing tools and methodologies. Familiarity with database management systems including SQL and NoSQL. Strong teamwork orientation and excellent communication skills. Preferred: Industry certifications like AWS Certified Developer or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer. Preferred: 2-5 years of professional experience in software development or related roles. As part of an agile team, you will report to the Development Manager and collaborate closely with multiple departments to deliver innovative software solutions. This role is based onsite in the City of London and is not eligible for remote work. Salary: £5,500 per month
