Software Test Engineer – Las Vegas, NV

X is hiring a full-time Software Test Engineer in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this on-site role, you will help ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of software products. Your testing work will support customer satisfaction and product performance in a fast-paced technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement test plans and test cases based on system requirements and technical specifications.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify software defects and performance issues.
• Document and communicate test results, defects, and recommendations to development teams.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and provide input on software functionality and testing requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to understand features and resolve issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes to improve testing efficiency.
• Keep current with testing tools and methodologies to support continuous software quality improvements.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies and practices.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and issue tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
