amal yehia is hiring a full-time Spanish-English Interpreter in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This on-site role helps bridge communication between Spanish and English speakers and supports effective client relationships and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret accurately between Spanish and English in meetings, conferences, client consultations, and other settings.
- Prepare for assignments by researching relevant subjects and terminology.
- Protect the confidentiality of sensitive information and document interpretation-related details as needed.
- Work with colleagues to improve interpretation methods and service quality.
- Attend team meetings to discuss project updates, challenges, and client feedback.
- Evaluate interpretation effectiveness and support continuous improvement.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics or a related field.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Demonstrated interpretation and communication skills, including experience with simultaneous and consecutive interpretation.
- Familiarity with modern interpretation tools and technologies.
- At least two years of professional interpretation experience is desirable.
- Interpretation or related certification is preferred.
