Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Spanish to English Medical Interpreter for remote work based in Bogotá, Colombia. This role involves providing precise medical interpretation during over-the-phone (OPI) and video remote interpreting (VRI) sessions. Responsibilities also include simultaneous interpretation and translation of medical documents to facilitate clear communication between healthcare providers and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate medical interpretation from Spanish to English and vice versa during OPI and VRI sessions.
• Perform simultaneous interpretation in medical settings.
• Translate medical documents ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications.
• Work independently in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in medical interpretation and simultaneous interpreting.
• Strong translation and language service capabilities.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English with excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage remote work effectively.
• Experience in the medical field is an advantage.
• Certification in medical interpretation is preferred.

Compensation

Pay rate: $5 per hour
