Every Special Child is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Hayward, California for the 2026-27 school year. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Conduct assessments to determine students' educational needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other specialists to support the overall development of students.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust curriculum as needed to ensure successful learning outcomes.
• Provide ongoing communication with families regarding their child’s achievements, challenges, and needs.
• Facilitate a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and fosters a sense of belonging.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with educational trends and strategies.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education is required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
• Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of relevant educational software and tools to enhance teaching methods.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a special education setting is preferred.

Compensation: $55,000 per hour
