Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job in Chula Vista, CA

Every Special Child is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Chula Vista, California, for the 2026–27 school year. This on-site school-based role supports students’ communication, academic participation, and social development in a collaborative educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate students to identify speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide direct speech and language therapy tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and families to support communication goals.
• Document student progress and adjust services and treatment plans as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development.
• Share speech and language strategies with staff and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• One to three years of relevant speech therapy experience.
• School-based experience preferred; familiarity with assistive communication technology is a plus.
