Speech Language Pathologist Job in Chula Vista, CA (SY 2026-27)

Every Special Child is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Chula Vista, California for the 2026-27 school year. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student.
• Provide direct speech therapy services based on individual student requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and staff to support communication goals.
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans according to student progress.
• Participate actively in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
• Educate and train staff and families on effective speech and language strategies.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues.
• Experience in an educational setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with assistive technology tools for speech and communication is a plus.
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant speech therapy experience.
