SQL Server Integration Engineer

Tasks

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and implementation.
• Develop and support file-based and real-time system integrations.
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, ETL processes, data flows, and data mapping.
• Manage, configure, and refresh test environments across concurrent projects.
• Perform incident triage, troubleshooting, remediation, and root cause analysis.
• Support regression testing, SIT, SAT, and UAT.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams and business stakeholders to improve system reliability.
• Follow Agile methodologies and maintain technical documentation.
• Recommend preventive measures and corrective actions to minimize recurring incidents.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and ETL tools (SSIS/SSRS)
• Hands-on experience with data integration, data flows, and data mapping
• Experience in regression testing, SIT, SAT, and UAT
• Knowledge of incident and defect management
• Experience with Agile methodologies and test environment management
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Preferred: Utility industry experience, particularly with Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI).
