About the role
Polikov Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an A+ rated carrier with outstanding financial strength, substantial capacity, and a strong Treasury Listing. The carrier can support contractors on projects north of $500 million and participate in larger co-surety programs.
This role manages and develops a profitable book of contract surety business, working with agency partners, contractors, and internal leadership. It may suit someone who enjoys building agency relationships, underwriting quality contractors, and contributing to the profitable growth of a respected surety operation.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite, analyze, and manage contract surety accounts within assigned authority.
- Evaluate contractor financial statements, work-in-progress schedules, backlog, bank lines, ownership structure, and overall operational strength.
- Make sound underwriting decisions around risk selection, pricing, account retention, and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, brokers, contractors, and other key market partners.
- Develop new business opportunities.
