Sr. Mechanical Engineer (SolidWorks)

About the role

Seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong hands-on SolidWorks experience to design mechanical systems, HVAC equipment, assemblies, and layouts.

Tasks

• Design mechanical systems, equipment, assemblies, and layouts using SolidWorks.
• Develop 3D models for mechanical components, piping, cabling routes, and equipment arrangements.
• Prepare fabrication, assembly, installation, and detailed engineering drawings.
• Create BOMs, equipment schedules, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Perform design calculations and select suitable mechanical components and equipment.
• Review designs for manufacturability, installation, serviceability, and dimensional accuracy.
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve design clashes.
• Manage engineering changes, drawing revisions, prototyping, testing, validation, installation, and commissioning support.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of mechanical design and engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on SolidWorks expertise in part modeling, assemblies, sheet metal, piping, cabling, drawings, and configurations.
• Experience with HVAC systems, stainless steel (SS) piping, valves, utilities, and equipment layouts.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerances, engineering drawings, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, equipment datasheets, specifications, and architect
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
