Sr Project Accountant

About the role

Utilities and commercial construction sector.

Tasks

• Tracking individual major project costs, updating work in progress (WIP), maintaining cost estimates, and partnering directly with Project Managers.
• Month-end cost accruals, revenue recognition, and variance investigations
• Job costing, open PO analysis, percent of completion (POC), and balance sheet reconciliations
• Change order documentation, contract reconciliations, and forecasting support

Requirements

• Bachelor's in accounting/finance required
• 3+ years of accounting experience required
• Construction background required
• Advanced Excel proficiency (Acumatica is a plus)
