Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Staff Environmental Scientist or Geologist 2 for a technical support role on diverse project teams. This full-time position is located in the Midlothian, VA office. The role supports environmental and geotechnical projects through field assignments and office-based technical work.

This opportunity offers a developing professional practical consulting experience while contributing to project delivery and safe field execution.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations and assessments of soil, soil vapor, groundwater, surface water, and other media using approved industry standards.
• Perform environmental sampling, geologic logging and documentation, and observe soil boring and groundwater monitoring well installation activities.
• Support site characterization programs.
• Organize and evaluate field data, support technical interpretations, and prepare technical documentation and report sections under the direction of senior staff.
