Staff Reporter

FULL & PART-TIME POSITIONS | MONDAY-FRIDAY

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Write accurate, engaging news stories for print and digital publication.
• Cover local sporting events, interview coaches and athletes, and write game recaps, feature stories, and sports-related news.
• Attend community events, meetings, and other assignments as needed.
• Meet deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with editors, coworkers, and members of the public.
• Demonstrate strong writing, grammar, and proofreading skills.
• Show initiative, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and AP Style is preferred but not required. Training is available for the right candidate.
