Staff Software Engineer

Circle is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to help extend its in-house blockchain systems infrastructure and build technology supporting the tokenization of the world. This role focuses on designing and owning scalable microservices and secure APIs that move value across blockchain protocols and traditional banking rails. Requirements include 7+ years of professional software development experience, deep experience with Java, Go experience is a plus, computer science degree or equivalent, technical leadership, expertise in API design, payments processing, or blockchain technology, experience building scalable software, understanding of Web3 and smart contracts, experience with RESTful API, cloud services, container orchestration, SQL schema design, designing systems at scale, strong communication skills, hands-on experience and interest in Web3 and crypto, and experience with high-scale payments infrastructure is a plus.
