Job description

Required Skills/Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a BS or BA degree, preferably with 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, inventory management, customer service, or business operations; equivalent experience may also be considered. This role requires a customer-focused mindset, strong organizational and time management skills, exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. The candidate should have effective verbal and written communication skills and be able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and supporting domestic and international transportation activities is preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, are expected. Experience with reporting and data analysis tools is a plus, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement capabilities.
Job Responsibilities:
Inventory & ERP ManagementMaintain accurate inventory records through timely transaction processing within SAP or designated ERP systems.Monitor inventory movements between manufacturing sites, warehouses, and third-party logistics providers.Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through routine reconciliations and root-cause analysis.Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits.Generate and analyze inventory reports to support operational decision-making.Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end inventory close processes.
Logistics & Transportation CoordinationCoordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and regulatory compliance.Manage freight bookings with carriers, freight forwarders, brokers, and warehouse partners.Prepare and review shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and export documentation.Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate delays or issues to stakeholders.Maintain freight records and transportation performance metrics.Support freight cost management and logistics process improvements.

Production & Supply Chain Support Support Supply Chain Manager in production planning activities.Assist when needed with production order administration and batch documentation within SAP.Support S&OP, forecasting, and inventory planning processes as requested.Monitor finished goods inventory levels and communicate replenishment actions when necessary.
Regulatory & ComplianceMaintain compliance with DOT, IATA, IMDG, and other applicable transportation regulations.Obtain hazmat training and certification to ensure hazmat shipment are appropriately packaged, shipped, and labeled. Manage timely re-certification of UN packaging for hazmat products Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and records.
Customer Support LogisticsAct as a central customer service liaison, ensuring accurate order processing, proactive customer communication, and effective coordination across internal teams to meet customer needs and business objectives.Support customer order fulfillment by providing shipment status updates and resolving logistics-related issues.Assist with customer and distributor inquiries related to inventory and transportation activities.
Accounts Payable & Financial SupportProcess and reconcile freight invoices, vendor invoices, and production-related receipts.Support vendor payment verification and discrepancy resolution.Assist Finance and Supply Chain Manager with operational reporting and month-end close activities.Maintain documentation supporting purchasing and logistics expenditures.
Data Analytics & Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and customer service.Participate in system enhancements, process documentation, and ERP optimization initiatives.Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.Support continuous improvement projects across Operations and Supply Chain functions.
Cross-Functional CollaborationProvide backup support for Production Manager and other operational roles as needed.Participate in cross-training initiatives to enhance organizational flexibility.Support special projects and strategic initiatives assigned by management.
