I'm partnered with an Am Law 50 firm in Houston seeking a Tax Lawyer to join the green energy practice.
If you want to be at the frontier of the largest and most complex renewable energy transactions, this is where you want to be.
Key Responsibilities:Supporting M&A transactions, tax equity financings, tax credit transfers, and other joint venturesAdvise clients regarding qualification for federal green energy tax incentives, including PTCs and ITCsAnalyze and interpret tax requirements under IRC Sections 45/45Y/48/48EStructure and document tax equity financings for wind, solar, battery storage and other green energy projectsAdvise on tax credit transfers and monetization strategies
QualificationsAdmitted to state barLL.M. in Tax (preferred)Renewable Energy M&A experienceFamiliarity with section 45/48
