Minimum Requirements

Arizona Elementary Certificate K-8 Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Requirements Prior To Start Date

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization

Preferred Requirements

Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino studentsBilingual (Spanish) endorsement

COMMENTS

Effective: 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR

LOCATION: Mary Belle McCorkle K-8 - Ajo & Mission Area

FTE: 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day

Work Calendar: 9.5 month

Four (4) positions available- two 6th grade positions, one 7th grade, and one 8th grade

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.

Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language. For more information on salary schedule, please reference the Employee Agreements Webpage.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
