Job description
IngMEP is hiring a responsible, dependable Field Chemical Application Technician for a full-time, on-site role in Bogotá, Colombia. No prior experience is required. You will safely apply chemical products for services such as pest control, fumigation, and tank cleaning at locations throughout the area, following technical instructions and applicable safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Apply chemical products according to technical instructions and safety procedures.
- Prepare application equipment and keep it in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records for each service performed.
- Report unusual conditions observed during service visits.
- Follow biosafety protocols and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- No previous experience required.
- Driver’s license; a motorcycle A1 license is preferred.
- Good physical condition.
- Availability for field work and travel to different areas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Local certification as a chemical application technician.
- Knowledge of pest control, sanitation, fumigation, or related services.
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Punctuality, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Working-at-heights certification.
