Test Lead – Quality Engineering

Tasks

• Lead end-to-end QA strategy, test planning, execution, and reporting across multiple PODs and Scrum teams.
• Drive an automation-first approach across UI, API, and regression testing.
• Use AI tools such as Claude to author test cases and build automated test scripts.
• Lead defect triage, root-cause analysis (RCA), and continuous quality improvement.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates.
• Define and track QE metrics, including defect leakage, automation coverage, cycle time, and release quality.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to ensure requirement clarity and comprehensive test coverage.
• Manage onsite–offshore coordination, delivery priorities, and stakeholder communication.
• Support UAT, production validation, release sign-offs, and QA team mentoring.

Requirements

• 10+ Years in Quality Engineering
• 2+ Years as a Test Lead
• Quality Engineering and Test Leadership
• E-commerce / Digital Platform Testing
• AI-driven QE and hands-on AI usage (Claude or similar)
• Test Automation: Playwright, Cypress, or similar
• API Testing: Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent
• Agile/Scrum methodology
• Onsite–offshore team coordination
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Test Management: Jira, TestRail, or eq
