Job description
About the role
This is a powertrain durability support engineering role with leading Cargo Van company.
Requirements
- Bachelors in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
- 3+ yrs of light-duty engine or powertrain development, including combustion, emissions control, OBD, drivability, calibration, or durability testing.
- 2+ yrs pre-test performance and functionality checks, including review of diagnostic data, fault memory, readiness, drivability, and vehicle condition.
- 1+ yr test progress, vehicle usage, driver feedback, downtime, and deviations from the approved test plan
- 1+ yr Documentation of issue history, analysis, decisions, countermeasures, and validation results
- 1+ yr Tools: INCA and MATLAB/Simulink
- Proficiency with CAN bus systems OR ECU communication OR powertrain and drivetrain systems OR vehicle diagnostic processes
Schedule
- Hybrid 4-days onsite, 1-day Remote
Pay
- Rate #40hr on C2C or W2 any visa.
