Thermoforming Machine Operator

About the role

Methodassociates is hiring a Thermoforming Machine Operator to set up and operate thermoforming and production equipment, make machine adjustments, and help keep jobs on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate thermoforming and production equipment.
• Make machine adjustments as needed and perform setups and changeovers between jobs.
• Troubleshoot basic machine and mechanical issues.
• Complete machine setup sheets, job notes, and other required production paperwork, and return completed paperwork to the front office.
• Follow job instructions and safety procedures.
• Help with routine machine maintenance and upkeep.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Work with the production team to keep jobs on schedule.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical ability and the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, late nights, and weekends.
• Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience preferred; plastics or thermoforming experience is a plus.
• Mechanic or hands-on mechanical experience is a plus.
• Ability to complete job paperwork accurately and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable, willing to learn, and able to work independently and with a team.
