Stanleytiling is seeking a skilled Tiling Specialist for a contract position based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately measure and cut tiles for floors, walls, and other surfaces to achieve perfect fitting.
• Install ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles using industry-standard techniques.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and ensuring proper adhesion before tiling.
• Apply grout and sealants to secure tiles and prevent moisture damage.
• Inspect completed work to maintain high-quality standards and eliminate defects.
• Collaborate effectively with tradespeople and project managers to meet deadlines.
• Maintain and operate tiling tools safely and efficiently, following best practices.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in tile installation, especially ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone.
• Strong skills in grouting, flooring, wall tiling, and precise measurement techniques.
• Proficiency with tiling tools and excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Relevant tiling certification or industry-standard qualification is advantageous.
