Key Responsibilities Design aerospace tooling and fixtures in compliance with project requirements and aerospace industry standards. Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances (GD&T) principles to ensure design accuracy and precision. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes. Create and update tooling designs using advanced Computer Aided Design (CAD) software. Support assembly process planning by delivering effective tooling solutions. Review, test, and validate tooling designs to guarantee functionality and compliance. Engage in project meetings to report design progress and incorporate stakeholder feedback. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Production Engineering. Proven experience in aerospace tooling design with strong knowledge of manufacturing methods. Comprehensive understanding of assembly processes. Proficiency in CAD software is mandatory. Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances (GD&T) is essential. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure tooling designs meet manufacturing needs and industry standards.
