T&H Electrical LLC offers opportunities to contribute to high-impact projects using modern transportation technologies and standards.Role Description The Traffic Signal Installer is a full-time, on-site role located in Wilson, NC. This role is responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining traffic signals, controllers, and related electrical and communication components according to project plans and NCDOT specifications. Day-to-day tasks include setting poles and mast arms, pulling and terminating cables, wiring and testing signal cabinets, and performing field checks to ensure proper operation and safety. The installer will use hand and power tools, operate equipment as needed, follow traffic control procedures, and work closely with supervisors and crew members to meet project schedules. The role also involves troubleshooting issues in the field, documenting work performed, and following all safety policies and regulatory requirements.Qualifications Experience with electrical or signal installation, including wiring, cable pulling, conduit installation, and basic troubleshooting of electrical systems.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and DOT specifications related to traffic signals and roadway infrastructure.Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions, at heights, and around active roadways, with strict adherence to safety standards and PPE requirements.Skill in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment commonly used in traffic signal or roadway construction, such as drills, multimeters, bucket trucks, and trenching equipment.Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on reliability, attention to detail, and completing tasks efficiently and accurately.Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; ability to travel locally to job sites and work flexible hours as project needs require.Prior experience in traffic signal installation, electrical work, or transportation infrastructure is preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., IMSA) are a plus.High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electrical, construction, or transportation fields is beneficial.
