Part-Time Transcription Services Specialist in New York City

Lakewood Advisors, LLC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Transcription Services Specialist to join our part-time team in New York City, New York . In this role, you will provide accurate and confidential transcription services that support multiple departments and enhance team communication. Key Responsibilities Transcribe audio recordings into written documents with high accuracy. Review and edit transcripts for clarity, grammar, and punctuation to ensure professional quality. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information following best practices. Use transcription software and computer applications to improve efficiency and data management. Collaborate with team members to resolve ambiguities and meet project deadlines. Document and organize completed transcripts for easy access and future reference. Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance transcription skills and techniques. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with strong accuracy. Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills. Proficient with computer applications and transcription software. Previous transcription or related experience preferred. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
