Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy-duty vehicles for long-distance livestock and feed transport.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch and management about schedules and logistics.
• Load and unload livestock and feed following strict safety protocols.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations for cargo safety.
• Complete required documentation including transportation logs and safety reports.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving transport-related issues promptly.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in long-distance driving, especially livestock transport.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness to manage heavy loads safely.
