Traveling Project Superintendent

FOR FEDERAL CONTRACT WORK

THE ROLE
The Traveling Project Superintendent plays a critical role in overseeing day-to-day field operations on federal construction projects across the United States. You will lead and coordinate field activities, ensuring safety, quality, schedules, and contract compliance from start to finish.

REQUIREMENTS
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and safety regulations
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee and coordinate daily construction activities
• Enforce safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Monitor subcontractor work for compliance with plans and specifications
• Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation
• Manage field personnel, equipment, and materials
• Support scheduling and project timelines
• Ensure adherence to federal contract requirements and regulations

QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years of construction experience
• (Federal experience a plus)
• Previous experience as a Superintendent or Foreman preferred
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification (preferred)
• Strong understanding of federal contract requirements (FAR/DBA-SDBA or plans)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
