The role: This Driver position is responsible for operating a truck hauling tractor and delivering LNG tanks in the most efficient and safest manner to our customers. In addition, you are expected to take good care of the logistics assets and perform product offloading operations at multiple costumers’ sites. The role will require the candidate to work effectively under pressure, uncertainty & tight schedules.
Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently deliver LNG product to our local small-scale customers and power generation regas sites.Operate a Class 9 tractor truck hauling LNG tanks following all defined safety protocols and other company standards.Be familiar with the routes and access upfront any possible issues (heavy traffic, constructions) and properly apply defensive driving.Perform company inspection reports and make proper use of all assets, especially those involved in the performance Driver responsibilities. (Tractors, trailers, chassis, and ISOs)Support vehicle and other assets preventive maintenance tasks.Ensure tractors are properly in good condition for deliveries.Support Terminal Ops to coordinate movements of assets into the loading bays and perform truck loading hoses connections if necessary.Be trained and certified in performing offloading of LNG at the different customer sites.Maintain open and proactive communication with management informing abnormal events during the performance of responsibilities.Proactively maintain up to date all relevant Driver certifications for operating tractors and other assets required to perfom deliveries.
What you bring:Proven experience as a professional driver, with a minimum of 5 Years in the Oil & Gas industry.Possess Valid PR Driver’s License Class 9 and NTSP local endorsement.Possess active Haz material training certification.Requires flexibility and ability to maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with tight deadlines, sensitive service issues, and emergency situations.Proven time management, scheduling, and prioritization skills.Ability to perform under pressure and in emergencies.Ability to work when required to have a non-standard work schedule in a 24x7 operation.Good communication and customer service skills.
