Key Responsibilities Operate trucks safely and comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee roadworthiness. Load, secure, and transport goods efficiently to assigned destinations on schedule. Maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage and fuel consumption logs. Communicate proactively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery updates or issues. Work closely with warehouse staff to facilitate smooth loading and unloading processes. Follow company policies, emphasizing safety and regulatory compliance. Required and Preferred Qualifications Grade 12 / Matric certificate. Valid Code 10 and Code 14 driver’s licenses. Minimum 2 years of long-distance truck driving experience preferred. Strong knowledge of road safety standards and best driving practices. Clean driving record with no accidents or traffic violations. Ability to conduct basic vehicle maintenance checks. Familiarity with GPS and navigation tools is a plus.
