Truck Driver - Code 10 and Code 14

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Truck Driver with a valid Code 10 and Code 14 Driver's License to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. Key Responsibilities Safely operate heavy-duty vehicles to transport goods to various locations while adhering to road safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition for safe operation. Maintain accurate, timely records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance activities. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries and minimize fuel consumption. Assist in loading and unloading cargo, ensuring that all items are secured appropriately for transit. Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to report on delivery status and any encountered issues. Comply with all company policies and industry regulations regarding health and safety practices. Required and preferred qualifications Valid Code 10 and Code 14 Driver's License. Proven experience as a truck driver with at least 3-5 years in a similar role. Strong driving skills with knowledge of vehicle maintenance and road safety regulations. Familiarity with GPS and other navigation tools. Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines for deliveries.
