Trusts & Estates Associate / Counsel - International Planning | New York, Greenwich or New Haven
AJ Chambers are delighted to be working with a highly regarded law firm seeking a Trusts & Estates Associate or Counsel to join its Private Client Services Department in New York or Connecticut.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 3-10 years of experience in domestic and international estate planning, estate and trust administration, and estate and tax compliance.
The successful candidate will have exposure to cross border estate planning and the ability to identify and analyse international planning issues, alongside knowledge of the tax principles affecting trusts, entities, offshore structures and investments.
Must Haves3-10 years of relevant experience in trusts and estates.Experience in domestic and international estate planning.Experience in estate and trust administration and estate and tax compliance.Experience gained within a law firm or an international tax practice at a major accounting firm.Exposure to cross border estate planning.Ability to identify and analyse international planning issues.Knowledge of tax principles affecting trusts, entities, offshore structures and investments.Strong organisational, verbal, analytical, writing and interpersonal skills.
