TV & Appliance Installer/Delivery Technician

About the role

This is an active, hands-on role that combines delivery, installation, and customer education.

WNY Install Co. serves customers throughout Western New York.

Tasks

• Pick up, load, transport, and deliver televisions, home theater equipment, and major appliances to customers throughout Western New York.
• Safely move and position bulky or heavy items, using appropriate equipment and safe handling practices.
• Install and set up televisions, soundbars, and home theater components.
• Install eligible major appliances, including dishwashers, laundry appliances, and over-the-range microwaves.
• Connect smart TVs to home Wi-Fi and help customers access streaming apps and services.
• Demonstrate basic features, explain how to use remotes and menus, and answer customer questions.
• Help customers understand the basics of switching from cable or satellite to streaming services.
• Work respectfully in customers’ homes, taking care to protect floors, walls, furniture, and personal belongings.
• Keep tools and work areas organized, and clean up packaging or debris as appropriate.
• Communicate clearly with customers and the team about appointments, installation needs, and any issues that arise.
• Represent WNY Install Co. professionally.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must regularly lift over 100 lbs.
• Patient, customer-focused, and comfortable with smart TV & streaming setup.
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Dependable, careful, comfortable with technology, and genuinely enjoys helping people.

Schedule

• Part-time and full-time work.
• Monday–Saturday availability ideal.

Pay

• $16–$22 per hour
