UI Automation Engineer Web Application Tester

Strong hands-on experience in Web Application / UI Automation Testing. Approximately 90% UI/Web testing experience. Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver. Experience with C# is highly preferred. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. Experience with functional and regression testing of web applications. Basic SQL knowledge, including SELECT queries and JOINs. Basic understanding of REST APIs/API testing for validation and troubleshooting. Experience working with test data from APIs and databases. Strong understanding of software QA processes and testing methodologies. Willingness and ability to learn Playwright and modern automation technologies. Must be interested in a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity. Highly Preferred Hands-on experience with Microsoft Playwright. Experience migrating automation frameworks from Selenium to Playwright. Experience designing or enhancing automation framework architecture. Experience with Playwright using C# or other programming languages. Experience with AI-assisted QA and software testing. Experience using AI tools/LLMs for: Test case generation, Test data creation, Debugging and troubleshooting, Automation development, QA productivity improvements. Knowledge of Prompt Engineering and working with LLMs. Experience integrating MCP (Model Context Protocol) and agentic testing concepts with Microsoft Playwright. Mobile application testing experience. Experience with mobile automation/testing tools. Testing Areas The QA team supports multiple testing areas, including: Web/UI Application Testing, UI Automation, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, Customer Data Quality Testing, Usability Testing, Performance Testing, API Validation, Database Validation, Test Data Management, Automation Framework Development. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a strong Web UI Automation Engineer with deep Selenium experience who is excited to transition to Playwright. Candidates with C#/.NET experience are highly preferred, but strong automation engineers with excellent OOP fundamentals in another programming language may also be considered. Candidates should be interested in a long-term opportunity with potential for full-time conversion, rather than a short-term contract.
