Project Manager Highway/Roadway Engineer

About the role

Ardurra is seeking a Project Manager Highway/Roadway Engineer to join its Transportation team in Miami, FL. The team designs transportation projects ranging from multilevel interchanges and urban arterial reconstruction to complete streets. Its portfolio includes the I-395 Signature Bridge reconstruction project in Downtown Miami, showcased in the Engineering News-Record. Designs are customized, sustainable, and cost-effective, covering Design Build and Design Bid Build projects.

The successful candidate will manage transportation design projects and develop contract plans, specifications, and construction estimates. The role includes project delivery expertise and may involve assuming a team lead role for the work group.

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation-related design projects and supervise engineering design tasks, including roadway geometric design.
• Lead the production of plans and the writing of technical reports and documents, and interact with clients.
• Perform process design for multidisciplinary transportation engineering projects, including evaluating alternatives, conducting engineering studies and design calculations, and completing preliminary and detailed design.
• Provide technical expertise to ensure compliance with design intent, project scope, and state and federal design criteria and standards.
• Develop contract plans and prepare technical specifications and cost estimates.
• Assist with project execution and delivery, including developing project scope, budget, and schedule.

Requirements
