Job description
Devcare solutions is hiring a full-time Unarmed Security Guard in Nashville, Tennessee. Help protect people and property while supporting a safe, welcoming environment for clients, employees, and visitors. Reporting to the Security Supervisor, you’ll work with a collaborative team to monitor premises, respond to incidents, and provide helpful customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol the premises regularly to help maintain safety and security.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems for potential concerns.
- Assist visitors and respond to their questions professionally.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies; document actions and outcomes.
- Prepare accurate reports on daily activities and observed irregularities.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations to help deter misconduct.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement when needed and assist with investigations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions in stressful situations.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment and reporting tools.
- Previous security or surveillance experience is preferred, not required; at least one year of security experience is desirable.
- Security certifications are not required; relevant training is beneficial.
