VAVE Engineer (Electro-Mechanical)

Tasks

• Execute and manage VAVE projects to optimize product cost, quality, and performance.
• Create and update 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
• Support electro-mechanical product design in compliance with EMC and safety requirements.
• Prepare design verification protocols, conduct testing, and generate test reports.
• Manage engineering changes and coordinate implementation into production.
• Work with suppliers on quotations, sample parts, prototypes, and technical requirements.
• Plan and execute multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
• Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.

• Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VAVE) Methodologies and Tools
• SolidWorks 3D Modeling and 2D Engineering Drawings
• Medical Device Development Lifecycle and Standards
• Engineering Change Management (ECM)
• Design Verification, Protocol Preparation, Testing, and Test Reports
• Electro-Mechanical Product Design
• EMC and Electrical Safety Requirements
• Project Planning and Execution
• Supplier Coordination, Quotations, Prototypes, and Sample Parts
• Technical Documentation and Engineering Reports
• Onsite-Offshore Team Coordination
• Managing Multiple Projects in Parallel
• Preferred: Medical Device or Life Sciences Industry Experience
• Preferred: EMC and Safety Testing
