Vegetable and Tomato Sales Associate in Nairobi

Eldoret is hiring a full-time Vegetable and Tomato Sales Associate in Nairobi Hill, Nairobi County, Kenya. In this customer-facing role, you will help customers choose fresh vegetables and tomatoes, maintain appealing product displays, and support sales in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, understand their needs, and provide helpful service and product recommendations.
• Keep vegetable and tomato displays clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Share information about produce freshness and selection.
• Process transactions accurately and handle cash according to company policies.
• Check inventory, maintain stock levels, and rotate fresh produce appropriately.
• Work with teammates on promotions to increase sales and attract customers.
• Report daily sales figures and customer feedback to management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Sales or customer service experience required; food industry experience is preferred.
• Retail experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Familiarity with inventory management tools is a plus.
