Vehicle Operator Data Logger Autonomous Vehicle Data Collection

Emergence Technologies, an independent contractor for DEKRA, is seeking Vehicle Operators / Data Loggers to drive electric SUVs for mileage accumulation and data collection to support autonomous vehicle development. Operators will run production-level vehicles on public roads while following predefined test routes and collection protocols. Key Responsibilities: ◦Drive electric vehicles on public roads while following predefined routes and collection protocols. ◦Conduct basic pre- and post-test vehicle inspections. ◦Report unusual vehicle behavior, test issues, or assigned tickets directly to the Project Manager. ◦Ensure vehicles remain charged, clean, and properly maintained. ◦Maintain professionalism in high-stress traffic and team environments. Requirements: ◦Age & License: Minimum age of 25 with a valid US/Canada driver’s license, clean driving record, and at least 3 years of driving experience. ◦Skills: Proficient with GPS/navigation apps and basic computer programs (including Microsoft Excel). ◦Languages: English proficiency. ◦Education: High school diploma or equivalent. ◦Capabilities: Ability to safely complete 8-hour driving shifts in all weather conditions. ◦Background & Screening: Must pass education verification, employment checks (2 years / 3 employers), a 7-year criminal history check, SSN verification, and a 9-panel drug test. Work Schedule & Pay Scale Available Shifts: Shift 1: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Shift 2: 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM Pay Structure: Shift 1: Starting at $18/hr Shift 2: Starting at $20/hr *Higher rates are available for candidates with prior mobile data collection experience.
