Vendor Event Assistant

About the role

Styled By Elegance is seeking a dependable, personable assistant to represent our boutique at pop-up markets, festivals, and special events.

We offer culturally inspired clothing, accessories, and body products.

Tasks

• Assist with setting up and packing down merchandise and displays.
• Greet customers, answer product questions, and assist with shopping.
• Process purchases and accurately track sales and inventory.
• Keep merchandise organized and displays presentable.
• Occasionally manage the booth independently.

Requirements

• Is punctual, trustworthy, and comfortable engaging with customers.
• Can follow instructions and work independently.
• Can assist with moving clothing racks, tables, and merchandise.
• Is comfortable working at indoor and outdoor events.
• Maintains a polished appearance and follows event attire guidelines.
• Retail, sales, or customer service experience is a plus.

Schedule

• Occasional, event-based work. Dates and hours will be discussed in advance.

Pay

• $20 per hour, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses
